Our software serves the automotive, aerospace, medical, and training markets, and continues to expand into new markets as consumers increasingly expect consistent device experience across all facets of their daily lives.This is an onsite role in our Orlando office.Key Areas of Responsibility:Owns multiple technologies or features spanning multiple projects; performs requirements analysis and architects solutions for complex systemsProvides code reviews on complex systems and drives adherence to code policies, may own coding standards, and proactively teaches best practices to other teamsIdentifies and develops innovative solutions of medium scope that enhance team performanceActs as technical leader for large teams or multiple teams; generates and reviews estimates, mentor's other engineers, may serve as Scrum Master, and chooses tools impacting multiple teamsQualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Game Design, or related field; or equivalent practical experienceRequired Skills:Proficiency in multiple programming languages (including C#), Unity game engine, and SCM tools (Git/Gitlab/PlasticSCM); can quickly self-teach new languages10+ years of software development experienceSelf-directed; troubleshoots all bugs independently and identifies dependencies in large, complex systemsPreferred Skills:Ability to read and evaluate technical manuals for complex systems and translate them into high-fidelity 3D training simulations.Prepares high-quality documentation; demonstrates matured presentation skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership; may conduct technical interviewsPhysical and Other Requirements:Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and participate in regular communications with remote and local teams.Occasional travel may be required according to project needs.Please note that this job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee in their role.
