Data Analyst (With statistical and analytic programming) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite) Contract: 6–12+ months We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong analytical and technical expertise to join our team on a 6+ month onsite contract in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have experience in data cleansing, analysis, visualization, and reporting, with a strong foundation in statistics and mathematics. Key Responsibilities Cleanse, prepare, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency. Explore and analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. Apply statistical methods to interpret and derive actionable insights from data. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and communicate findings effectively. Leverage expertise in the domain to provide meaningful insights and recommendations. Utilize programming languages and tools to automate processes, manipulate data, and implement analytical models. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. Strong expertise in SQL and Oracle for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with Simulink/MATLAB for data modeling and analysis. Proficiency in statistical and analytical programming languages such as R, Python, and MATLAB. Strong mathematical and statistical skills to support data analysis and modeling. Ability to create visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience in data analysis, exploration, and visualization.
