This position is responsible for safely monitoring a fleet of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, ensuring product quality standards are achieved, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes.Schedule: 2-2-3 |7:00 PM - 7:00 AM| 12 hour shiftGeneral Job DescriptionReview production schedule for each machinePrepare machine(s) for mold changes as needed (purge machine and update production records)Restart machine(s) for all types of material after mold changes are made (proper settings and product inspection)Review output of molding machines to ensure that efficiency and quality standards are metCommunicate with technician for feedback on machine performanceForklift operationTake corrective action in response to machine malfunctionsP.M. all molds once each shift. Check for any damagePlug gauge all parts continuously to assure qualityFill out all production reports as requiredSet up sprue picker for proper operation, if applicableSet up mold water heating unit, if applicableResponsible for housekeeping on machines and keeping work area up to 5S housekeeping standardsMaintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job dutiesOther duties as may be assigned by the supervisorEducation: High school or equivalent (Required)We Are an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.
