Inventory Clerk W/Forklift

Purchasing inventory clerk w/forklift and strong computer skills to support purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. This position will purchase and receive project materials, maintain accurate inventory, operate a forklift, load and unload trucks, and move materials throughout the warehouse. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, inventory, receiving, or material handling experience who is looking for a MondayFriday, 7 AM4 PM schedule with potential for long-term employment. You'll play a key role in the warehouse operations responsible for purchasing and receiving all project material and handling inventory which includes moving, loading, and unloading materials using a forklift, as well as performing general warehouse duties to keep operations running smoothly.

LOCATION: Wylie, TX 75098

POSITION: Contract to hire

SCHEDULE: 7AM 4PM M-F

PAY: $18.00hr

Key Responsibilities

• Purchasing/maintaining all project material
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Load and unload trucks and follow shipping/receiving procedures
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Inspect equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Assist with general warehouse organization and housekeeping

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience operating a forklift (valid certification preferred)
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience
• Previous skills in Inventory control, shipping and receiving.
• Strong Computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail
• Commitment to safety
• Team player with a positive attitude
