Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing organization in Hope, Arkansas. This individual will oversee daily accounting operations, supervise a team of four employees, and work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise a team of four accounting professionals. Manage month-end closing activities, including inventory counts and reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, financial reports, and sales and use tax returns. Analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement. Support payroll activities, audits, and corporate accounting initiatives. Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with plant management and corporate leadership on accounting projects. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required). 2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred. Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on-site in Hope, Arkansas. Preferred Accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. CPA or CMA certification, or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software.
