Computed Tomography Technologist
Become a vital part of a Lake City, FL hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment in a hospital radiology environment. This role requires adherence to departmental policies and collaboration with radiology staff to deliver safe diagnostic imaging services.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT certification in CT and X‑Ray (required).
- Completion of a JRCERT‑accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent education.
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with GE CT equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with Meditech and PACS documentation systems preferred.
- Ability to work within hospital radiology workflows and perform both CT and X‑ray exams as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hospital radiology experience at a 50+ bed acute care facility.
- Experience performing a variety of CT procedures and assisting with high‑volume imaging days.
- Comfort working in black scrubs per unit dress code.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1900–0700.
- Equipment: GE CT systems.
- Documentation systems used: Meditech and PACS.
- Schedule options may include varied weekend or multi‑day blocks per unit staffing needs.
