Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized surgical assistance to healthcare teams in the operating room. Ensure smooth procedure flow, maintain sterile environments, and support surgical team members throughout operative cases.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments and arranging surgical supplies.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Monitor and manage surgical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and ensure efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA or a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) certification from NCCT.
• Possess current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
• Have prior experience working in high-pressure surgical environments.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
