In this full-time role, you will work closely with patients to help them regain motion, improve functionality, and enhance their overall quality of life. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, where our team of two experienced physical therapists, along with a physical therapist assistant, work in unison to provide a supportive environment that fosters recovery and growth for our patients. We primarily cater to individuals with private medical insurance, enabling us to focus on personalized and effective treatment.

Work Environment

You will be based in our modern outpatient office located in Clearwater, Florida. The facility encompasses a spacious 5000 square-foot sports medicine area, designed to facilitate a wide range of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ objectives and physical needs.
• Manage a focused caseload, completing one-on-one treatments that prioritize individualized care.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques, enhancing patients’ mobility and strength.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment protocols in response to patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options to reduce medication dependency among patients.
• Motivate and support patients in adhering to fitness and wellness programs designed to improve their overall health.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals in the development of well-rounded care strategies.
• Maintain precise and thorough documentation of all patient care activities, outcomes, and communications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Ace Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center, you will predominantly work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and discomforts. This may include individuals dealing with conditions like post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your role will be vital in helping these patients navigate their recovery journeys, providing them with the tools and strategies necessary to achieve optimal health.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated strength in manual therapy techniques and experience in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Ability to formulate and execute customized exercise protocols to meet a diverse range of patient needs.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a busy outpatient orthopedic environment, treating diverse patient demographics.
• Expertise in developing comprehensive rehabilitation plans that deliver measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• A track record of fostering patient relationships and encouraging adherence to treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. This may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
