• Location: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• City/State: San Antonio, TX
• Number of Beds: 32
• Staff: Approximately 35 therapists and 50 nurses

General Information

This inpatient rehabilitation unit is equipped with a range of therapeutic staff and a strong focus on patient care. The unit is designed for providing extensive rehabilitation support.

Staffing Details

• Day Shift: 8 Occupational Therapists, 8 Physical Therapists, 1 Rehabilitation Aide, 7 Nurses, 3 Patient Care Technicians, 1 Unit Coordinator
• Night Shift: Not applicable
• Patient Ratios: Not applicable
• Treatment Expectation: 5 to 12 hours of patient treatment

• Burt EMR - Meditech

Candidate Profile

Required Skills:

• Initiative and knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation
• Basic understanding of inpatient rehab practices
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation
• Willingness to work on weekends (minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period expected)

Typical Procedures

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) assistance
• Patient evaluations
• Standard inpatient rehabilitation treatments

Floating Areas

Potential to float to other inpatient rehabilitation areas.

Black pants and olive scrub top required.
