Your Role in This Journey

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostics, and developing personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in collaboration with healthcare providers or independently based on your qualifications
• Instructing patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness strategies, and effective management of existing health issues
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management to enhance patient outcomes
• Coordinating care across interdisciplinary teams for a holistic approach
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient records within electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to procure these within 90 days)
