Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound exams including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-tier diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system and track patient records
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
