Project Manager – HickoryThe Project Manager will lead and manage 3 or more commercial construction projects simultaneously, with individual project values ranging from $10M to $50M. The PM will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a relentless focus on quality and safety.The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or plus years of equivalent experienceConstruction Experience: 10+ years (Preferred)Project Management: 5 years (Preferred) managing commercial projectsState Issued Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to read and evaluate architectural/MEP drawings and relevant contract documentsThorough understanding of construction codes and working knowledge of all trades and OSHA safety requirementsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interact and collaborate at all levelsComputer literate and capable of using MS Word, Excel, internet/email, MS Project, and an iPad/laptop.Experience with ProcoreExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work both independently and within a teamStrong work ethic and professional demeanorEffective listener and communicator; able to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and coworkersCommitted work ethic and alignment with company values.Behavior RequirementsIt's important to understand not just what we do, but how we do it. These expectations apply to all employees, regardless of title or experience, and are foundational to our culture.TEAM FIRST as we are "All in" togetherINTEGRITY that is Built on Trust, Driven by HonestyHUMILITY to Listen, Learn, and LeadPROACTIVE by running towards & solving the problemEXCELLENCE by raising the bar, with every projectKey ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & DocumentationLead and manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Develop comprehensive project management plans, including scope, schedule, financials, procurement, quality, and risk.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.Facilitate and lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and internal team meetings to maintain alignment and communication.Coordinate closely with design and engineering teams to ensure constructability and design intent.Support business development activities, including client presentations, proposals, and relationship management.Field & Quality SupportSupervise Assistant Project Managers and collaborate with Project Superintendents on day-to-day site execution.Conduct site visits to monitor field progress, verify quality standards, and ensure adherence to contract documents.Address and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays or disruptions.Ensure punch lists and project closeout activities are completed in a timely, thorough manner.Cost, Schedule & Vendor ManagementAssist in tracking project costs, managing purchase orders, and verifying subcontractor/supplier paymentsSupport development, maintenance, and updating of the project scheduleCoordinate the procurement and delivery of materialsCollaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely performance and compliance with scope of workSafety & ComplianceAlways uphold and promote company safety standardsEnsure all job sites are compliant with OSHA standards and J.M.
