Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Therapy Services

This role involves evaluating and treating patients of all ages in hospital (acute and swing bed) and outpatient settings, serving as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students. Key Responsibilities Include Conducting assessments of speech and language, integrating information from patients, families, and other professionals. Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. Utilizing standardized tools and instrumentation to evaluate progress and outcomes. Providing patient education, family training, and collaborating with the healthcare team on care recommendations. Documenting care in compliance with regulatory standards and adjusting interventions based on patient performance. Qualifications Master\'s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Illinois. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. Completion of continuing education on acute stroke care.
