Role Description This part-time, hybrid Certified Nurse-Midwife role in UT/ID/WY, United States involves providing high-quality, patient-centered obstetric and gynecologic care to service members, dependents, and beneficiaries. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum assessments; managing labor and delivery in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams; and providing family planning, contraceptive counseling, and routine women’s health services. The role also includes maintaining accurate clinical documentation, adhering to military and professional standards of care, and participating in training, drills, and readiness activities specific to the Navy Reserve. Some duties may be performed remotely, such as telehealth consultations, care coordination, and participation in virtual meetings or continuing education. The Certified Nurse-Midwife is expected to support operational readiness, uphold patient safety, and contribute to health promotion and education within the Navy Reserve community. Qualifications Current certification as a Nurse-Midwife (CNM) and active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license; eligibility to practice in Wyoming. Demonstrated expertise in prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care, including routine gynecologic and reproductive health services. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in both routine and emergent obstetric situations. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within interdisciplinary teams and providing patient education. Ability to adapt to military healthcare settings, follow clinical protocols, and maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct. Commitment to part-time service in the U.S. Navy Reserve, meeting training, drill, and readiness requirements; prior military or federal healthcare experience is beneficial. Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery or related advanced practice program from an accredited institution; national certification required. Experience with electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and culturally competent care for diverse patient populations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
