CDL-B Driver (Touch Freight)

We are seeking two reliable, safety-minded, and physically active CDL Class B Drivers to join our local delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a commercial box truck or straight truck to transport and deliver goods to our local customer base.

This is a touch freight position, meaning you will be active throughout your shift—loading, unloading, and interacting directly with our valued customers. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment where you are home daily and not just sitting behind a wheel all day, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Safely operate a CDL Class B commercial vehicle in accordance with all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.

• Touch Freight Delivery: Load, unload, and move product from the truck into customer locations using a hand truck, pallet jack, or by hand.

• Customer Service: Act as the face of the company at delivery points, providing polite, professional, and timely service.

• Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and report any maintenance needs.

• Accuracy & Documentation: Verify delivery manifests, obtain customer signatures, and manage delivery paperwork accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B.

• Experience: Minimum of [Insert number, e.g., 1–2 years] of commercial driving experience preferred, but safe drivers with less experience are encouraged to apply.

• Clean Driving Record: A clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major recent violations.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to [Insert weight, e.g., 50–75 lbs] throughout the day. Comfort with repetitive bending, lifting, and walking.

• Compliance: Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
