Senior Area General Manager (Sr. AGM), Cardiovascular - Florida Gulf

Lead the cardiovascular business in the Florida Gulf area, driving revenue growth, managing a cross‑functional team, and ensuring customer and patient centric outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve revenue goals for the area by executing comprehensive strategies and initiatives to drive growth and market share.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing team that includes sales representatives, key account managers, and specialized roles, collaborating with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical.
• Identify, retain, and attract high‑performing talent, building a culture of ownership and collaboration.
• Gain and apply a deep understanding of relevant markets, business models, and financial drivers, engaging with local and national healthcare strategies.
• Define local area strategy and priorities in collaboration with cross‑functional and HQ teams, manage a portfolio of brands, and allocate resources to maximize impact.
• Direct local squad P&L, monitor monthly financial reports, optimize budget utilization, and deploy human resources effectively.
• Build long‑term relationships with influential customers to support business opportunities and brand adoption.
• Maintain timely communications with reports, matrix partners, and stakeholders.
• Lead a national health‑system focused sales organization, engaging IDNs, ACOs, and large health systems in stroke prevention and anti‑coagulation management.
• Build strategic partnerships with C‑suite and D‑suite leaders to shape enterprise adoption and formulary access.
• Enable and influence patient access and reimbursement strategies across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong ownership mindset with financial acumen and data‑driven decision making.
• Proven ability to create local vision and strategy with measurable business impact.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills and ability to navigate complexity.
• Solid selling, negotiation, and budget management skills.
• Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, and Patient Access.
• Exceptional leadership, influencing teams to drive performance.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coaching talent.
• Thorough understanding of health systems, customer segments, market dynamics, and KOL development.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel routinely on a weekly basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector with increasing responsibility in sales, account management, or related functions.
• Experience leading sales or account teams in hospital or health‑systems sales.
• Experience in CVR, Stroke, Renal, or Anti‑coagulation therapeutic areas.

Benefits

Employees can expect a salary between $202,000.00 to $303,000.00, with additional compensation such as bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, and more.
