30hop in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring Cooks to join our kitchen team.

We’re looking for dependable, motivated Cooks who are comfortable supporting both prep and line operations. Depending on the needs of the kitchen, you may spend time preparing ingredients and recipes for service, working stations on the line, or helping across multiple areas of the kitchen.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Pay

$15 - $22 per hour based on experience.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time opportunities available
• Open availability is required, including weekends
• Scheduling is based on restaurant needs

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients, sauces, and recipes for daily service
• Set up and maintain a stocked, organized workstation
• Cook menu items using grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and established quality standards
• Maintain consistent food quality throughout service
• Properly rotate, label, store, and handle food
• Keep your station and shared kitchen areas clean and organized
• Complete assigned prep, cleaning, stocking, inventory, and food-storage tasks
• Communicate with kitchen leadership and teammates throughout service
• Support both prep and line responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous restaurant kitchen, prep cook, or line cook experience is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
