Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Includes weekend and holiday rotation. Floating between all campuses may be required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and interpreting dysrhythmias, as well as peripheral line care and management. Responsibilities include titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips and ensuring comprehensive patient care in a progressive care unit setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry patients.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to emergencies efficiently.
• Administer medications and titrate IV drips as needed.
• Provide care for patients requiring peripheral and PICC line management.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at submission.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred.
