Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 annually
Travel: Approximately 30% local and regional travel

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee specialized residential construction and equipment-installation projects throughout the Baltimore area.
The Project Manager will coordinate projects from the initial site meeting through installation, inspection, and completion. This position requires close collaboration with sales representatives, builders, subcontractors, manufacturing personnel, installers, inspectors, and homeowners.
The successful candidate will be organized, field-oriented, comfortable managing multiple active job sites, and committed to safety, code compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned residential construction and installation projects from initial planning through completion.
- Coordinate with sales representatives, builders, contractors, and subcontractors to communicate project and product requirements.
- Schedule and attend job-site meetings.
- Monitor construction progress and verify that site requirements are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Collect accurate job-site measurements, specifications, photographs, and other information needed for manufacturing and installation.
- Communicate with manufacturing and technical teams when field conditions or project issues arise.
- Confirm that each site is properly prepared before product delivery and installation.
- Coordinate installation schedules with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, open items, and completion requirements.
- Coordinate required inspections and assist with code-compliance matters.
- Review completed work for compliance with project specifications, company standards, applicable codes, policies, and procedures.
- Identify scheduling, construction, measurement, or installation problems before they delay the project.
- Maintain accurate project records, site documentation, correspondence, and status reports.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and other project stakeholders.
- Support customer-service and business-development activities by identifying potential leads and additional opportunities.
- Perform other project-management duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing construction, installation, field-service, or building-improvement projects.
- Experience coordinating builders, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and customers.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents, field measurements, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Experience monitoring job-site readiness and resolving field conditions that could affect delivery or installation.
- Strong scheduling, organization, documentation, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage several active projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written, verbal, and customer-service communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with field, sales, manufacturing, and technical teams.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally for approximately 30% of working time.
- Ability to work in the Baltimore area without relocation assistance.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing residential construction or home-improvement projects.
- Experience with specialty equipment, accessibility systems, elevators, lifts, mechanical products, or comparable residential installations.
- Familiarity with construction inspections, permitting, and code-compliance processes.
- Experience collecting field measurements and translating site information into manufacturing or installation requirements.
- Experience coordinating projects involving custom-manufactured products.
- Familiarity with project-management, scheduling, customer-relationship, or field-service software.
Direct elevator-industry experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong residential construction, specialty installation, field coordination, or subcontractor-management experience are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
The position pays $65,000–$70,000 annually , depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
