Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree with major in business, finance or related field Experience in loan processing beneficial but not required Strong computer skills including Excel and other database work Detail oriented and analytical skills Able to maintain confidentiality Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment Professional appearance and demeanor Flexible and open to change Stable and progressive work history Results oriented In Office Position. Ability to commute daily to local office is required. Able to work with minimal supervision Ability to travel both air and surface – valid driver’s license required Description The Loan Processor role is designed for a candidate who is willing to be a liaison between Currency and partner lenders to drive funded transactions. The Loan Processor is expected to identify the optimal lender option for high intent applicants and coordinate to ensure the transaction funds. The Loan Processor role will work closely with the sales team to foster connections and positive relationships to understand the needs of a transaction, as well as the partner lenders to facilitate execution of a transaction. This will include: Work with other Loan Processors and members of the currency team to develop solutions for customers and improve internal processes Attend in-person meetings regarding process updates and brainstorming for improvements for customers. Apply high attention to detail to ensure all standards are met as set by management. Analyze credit reports, assets, vendor partners, and outstanding risk factors to provide sound credit decisions using problem solving skills. Screen information for high data integrity and fraud prevention to protect and preserve Currency’s brand and partner lenders Maintaining strong approval rates, as well as strong funding rates are required. One of the main goals of this position is to have successful fulfillments, i.e. hand-off to fund. Assume other duties as assigned by management.
