Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality Assurance Certification EngineerWe are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Certification Engineer to join our Irvine, PA facility. ENS operates a fully integrated steelmaking process, including a scrap yard, electric arc furnace, ladle furnace, vacuum tank degasser, vacuum oxygen decarburization unit, teeming bay, annealing furnaces, and shipping operations. You'll play a key role in driving improvements across this complex and dynamic operation.What You'll DoWork with Sales, Quality and Production Teams to certify Customer product to specified industrial standards and assist with maintaining ENS Quality Assurance ManualKey responsibilities include:Responsible for final certifications of product qualityManages available resources to ensure the efficiency of the certifications processHas authority to disposition productAssists with maintaining the company library of compliance resources, including, but not limited to, standards and requirements of interested partiesDevelop and document relevant manufacturing instructionsAssist with ensuring that all company quality policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise mannerAssists with maintaining Quality Assurance ManualAssist with conducting internal/external audits and documents corrective actions,Assist with providing support and training as required to ensure compliance with established proceduresWhat You BringBachelor of Science in Engineering preferred; OR minimum 3 years of experience in steel or heavy industry with relevant educationDemonstrated in-depth understanding of industry standards (AMS, ASTM)Demonstrated ability to problem solveStrong computer skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively collect, and analyze data to derive applicable informationAbility to work outside of normal work hours to meet business needs including travel if deemed necessaryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsValid driver's licenseWhy Build Your Career at ENS?We believe in creating an environment where people can grow, contribute, and thrive.
