Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN), Neonatal ICU

Job Title RN On Call Option 3 Location Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039 Department Neonatal ICU Shift & Pay Night shift; Pay range $67.79 - $77.52 per hour Job Overview Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Minimum (2) years recent/current level III NICU experience required Completion of all orientation requirements by Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing Certifications and Licenses Required Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement Basic Life Support BLS from the American Heart Association NRP certification Must have an I.V. certification and pass the test upon hire Scheduling Requirements Per Diem 2 - 12.5 hour shifts per month, both shifts on weekend 1 - 12.5 hour Summer Holiday (July 4th, Easter, Labor Day) 1 - 12.5 hour Winter Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
