Apartment Maintenance Technicians

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced EPA Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Brentwood. This individual will need to independently handle basic plumbing, basic electrical, painting, drywall repairs, HVAC service, etc.

Maintenance Technicians Responsibilities:

Strong experience in the following tasks:
Plumbing - sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable)
Electrical - replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge or proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable
Carpentry - patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting
Appliances - help with installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs
Technicians should be courteous to residents and provide realistic expectations for completed job
Report missing/needed parts to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager (as instructed)

Maintenance Technicians Qualifications:

EPA Universal Certification is required
Previous experience in residential maintenance - apartments, hotels or private homes
You must have personal hand tools and drills - bring to site daily; do not leave at property
Must have reliable transportation and have a team mentality
Ability to handle physical workload
