Respiratory Therapist Position

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Worland, WY. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Position provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing across a variety of patient care settings within the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for new hires after October 1, 2015.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing as required by Wyoming state law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum one year of clinical respiratory therapy experience demonstrating knowledge of clinical techniques, ventilator management, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostics, and durable medical equipment use.
• Ability to perform patient assessments, document care accurately, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Must meet facility requirements regarding varied work schedules and additional site-specific requirements noted in order documentation. (Preferred) Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

• Shift Hours: 06:4507:15 start window indicated for days shift.
• Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
• May be assigned to a variety of clinical areas where respiratory care is needed. Floating to other facilities within the system may be required.
