Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Raytheon Capacity Growth Office (CGO) is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Integration Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary manufacturing capability deployment projects across CGO programs. This role oversees the project execution arm of the Manufacturing Systems Integration team, ensuring that production‑system elements, readiness activities, and manufacturing capability stand‑ups are executed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with factory performance objectives. This individual will lead cross-functional project teams that include manufacturing systems engineers, operations, quality, test, supply chain, facilities, digital systems, and program office partners. The ideal candidate has deep project management expertise, strong technical acumen in manufacturing environments, and a proven ability to drive teams through complex technical, schedule, and risk challenges. They bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to fast‑moving, highly visible capacity‑creation efforts.What You Will DoLead planning and execution of multi-disciplinary manufacturing integration and capacity‑creation projects across CGO programs, ensuring alignment with program and factory objectives.Oversee all project baselines including scope, schedule, budget, performance metrics, risks, and opportunities, using EVMS and established program management processes.Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, quality, test, DT, supply chain, and facilities to ensure all technical tasks required for factory readiness are completed.Directly manage project dependencies, critical paths, resource needs, and integration milestones, escalating issues proactively to leadership as needed.Lead the integration and synchronization of technical work packages owned by Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineers, ensuring readiness activities, capability deployments, and process improvements are delivered on schedule.Facilitate or chair IPT sessions, readiness reviews, pilot build planning, and go‑live coordination forums.Identify leading indicators of project and system health; drive timely mitigation or corrective action plans.Communicate project status, risks, and decision needs to executives, program leadership, and key stakeholders at the appropriate level of detail.Maintain tight alignment with Program Management, Operations Leadership, and CGO leadership to ensure technical progress aligns with business objectives and factory performance requirements.Foster high-performing, collaborative project teams by mentoring and guiding engineers and cross-functional contributors, especially in navigating complex manufacturing environments.What You Will LearnHow integrated manufacturing system elements, process flow, capability deployment, digital readiness, tooling, layout, and quality controls, come together to drive factory capacity and rate performance.How to manage highly interconnected technical workstreams in fast-moving, cross-functional manufacturing environments.How to use project health indicators, data-driven metrics, and readiness gates to forecast and influence factory performance outcomes.How large-scale capacity‑creation initiatives shape program cost, schedule, risk posture, and long-term sustainment strategies.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
