Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in the obstetrics department within a critical access facility. This role involves delivering high-quality care for women and their newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment to ensure patient-centered care during the childbirth and postpartum journey.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring at Intermediate or above levels; must be labor-trained. A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Montana and at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience. Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in labor and delivery, postpartum, or neonatal care units. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Additional Information: The candidate will provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns, perform triage and non-stress tests, and serve as second nurse during deliveries while managing overflow patients. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient-centered care. This position requires supporting patients experiencing pregnancy, birth, or recovery complications.
