Customer Service Representative Operations Support Hours: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Position Overview This role provides customer support through phone and email, manages shipment updates, and assists internal and external partners. It requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and deliver excellent customer service Respond to customer inquiries via email Make outbound calls to follow up on shipment status and resolve issues Track, trace, enter, and update shipments Support stations and cartage agents Use and master outside customer applications Follow established procedures and identify needed updates Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Competencies Strong oral and written communication Effective problem-solving abilities Technological aptitude with online tools Ability to multitask Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of customer service experience Physical Requirements Primarily an office-based clerical role with frequent sitting and occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Extensive phone and computer use required. Remote work may occur at times. Work Environment Responsibilities may shift based on business needs, including coverage for absences or peak periods. Some exposure to ambient weather conditions may occur depending on operational requirements.
