Vertical CNC Mill Machinist

Our own in-house software developers continually improve the flow of information we need to do our daily jobs. Shifts (including differential) Weekend Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM Major Duties and Responsibilities Run machines in a fast-paced production environment. Loads appropriate material for the job per job instructions. Perform In-Process Inspections using standard precision measuring tools. Reviews and understand manufacturing prints. Follow Shop Procedures and Processes. 5s, keeping area clean and organized. Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, pins, indicators and bore gauges. Other duties as assigned. Desired Skills and Experience Experienced minimum 1 years’ in the set‑up and run of vertical CNC mills. Have production experience with close tolerance machined components and holding tolerances of +/- .0005". Excellent work ethic and dependability. Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Personal skills of Self‑Starter, Self‑Motivated, Flexible and Detail Oriented. Have the ability and willingness to adapt to an ever changing production environment. Job Conditions/Physical Requirements Work performed in office and factory settings. Exposure to manufacturing environment such as noise and dust. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about facilities. Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
