About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Multifamily Estimator to join our preconstruction team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, a solid understanding of multifamily construction, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for multifamily residential projects ranging from $5M to $50M+
• Analyze plans, specifications, and addenda to develop accurate and competitive bids
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and owners during preconstruction
• Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and risk items
• Maintain and update historical cost data and bid databases
• Participate in owner presentations and scope review meetings
• Support the project team during buyout and procurement phases

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor multifamily experience required
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction methods, materials, and systems
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software such as Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil plans
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids under deadline
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred equivalent experience considered
