As the Lead Stylist at Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop , you will serve as the champion of style, technique, and exceptional client hospitality. Hammer & Nails provides a luxury, upscale grooming experience tailored specifically for men, featuring a premium lounge atmosphere, complementary beverages, personal TVs, and top-tier services ranging from haircuts and straight-razor shaves to hand and foot care.

In this dual-focused role, you will deliver world-class cuts, shaves, and styles to your own clients while leading, mentoring, and inspiring the salon’s grooming team. You will oversee the execution of brand protocols, maintain a high standard of shop floor professionalism, and foster an environment of continuous skill development.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Luxury Service: Provide executive-level haircuts, hair styling, beard trims, and hot-towel straight-razor shaves that embody the premium Hammer & Nails standard.

Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and support a talented team of barbers and stylists to drive high productivity, technical mastery, and exceptional guest retention.

Quality Assurance: Monitor shop floor activities to guarantee strict compliance with safety, sanitation, and brand protocols.

Onboarding & Training: Help onboard new stylists and lead continuous education programs, utilizing our exclusive industry partnerships and specialized equipment.

Client Experience Management: Act as a brand ambassador, helping resolve any guest concerns with grace and ensuring every client leaves feeling refreshed and highly satisfied.

Product & Retail Promotion: Educate clients on premium grooming products and recommend regimens to meet monthly retail and service revenue goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of working experience as a licensed Stylist or Barber in a high-end salon or premium barbershop setting, with a proven track record of handling specialized men's grooming requests.

Leadership Skills: Previous experience as a Lead Stylist, Salon Manager, or mentor is highly preferred.

Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in scissor cuts, clipper fades, beard shaping, and straight-razor shaving.

Interpersonal Flair: Outstanding verbal communication skills with an approachable, collaborative, and people-first attitude.

Availability: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including peak salon hours such as evenings and weekends.
