Mitigation Technician - Lead

Job Description

Job Description

This is a hands-on field job, not a management or office role. You'll tear out wet drywall, handle equipment, work in a crawl space from time to time, and work with a dynamic team. If that sounds terrible, no hard feelings. If it sounds like a normal Tuesday, keep reading.

About Us: Best Option Restoration is a locally owned disaster restoration company in Springdale. When someone's house floods we're the ones who show up.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

What You'll Do

• Respond to water losses: burst pipes, flooding, appliance leaks, and storm damage
• Extract standing water with truck-mount or portable extractors
• Demo wet drywall, baseboards, flooring, carpet, pad, cabinets, and insulation
• Work in crawl spaces: pull wet insulation, extract water, and set drying equipment
• Haul and set air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers, then pull them when the job is dry
• Take moisture readings and job photos, and keep drying logs
• Apply antimicrobials and handle basic mold and sewage cleanup
• Lead by example on the job site and keep the crew moving
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures on every job
