Must-Have: Total Joint and ACL experience required

Description: General job duties include maintaining sterile technique. Responsibilities involve opening supplies and setting up for the case. Required tasks include passing instruments and assisting in surgeries. Clean up of the surgical suite post-case is also expected. No computerized charting or medication systems are used by Surgical Technologists. Common equipment utilized includes large power tools, small power tools, TPS, and bone mill. Certification as a Surgical Technician is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Specific licensures required include CST, with no substitution allowed for experience. BLS certification from AHA is mandatory. The schedule consists of 2 on-call shifts per month. Training will focus on orthopedic-specific cases with hands-on education. The unit has 10 operating rooms and 1 procedure room. Cancellation policy allows for cancellations up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment.
