This contract-to-hire opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in an energetic educational setting while making an impactful difference in the lives of children and adolescents. You’ll work a full-time, 8-hour schedule each day, and enjoy a two-week vacation during Christmas, along with all other district holidays and break days.

What we’re looking for:

• licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina
• Experience in a school setting or strong interest in pediatric Occupational Therapy
• Proficiency with assessments, IEP development, and the implementation of therapy plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other school professionals
• Strong organization and time management abilities

What you’ll do:

• Assess students to determine their motor skill, sensory, or adaptive functioning needs within the school context
• Develop and implement individualized and group therapy sessions in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to craft effective support strategies in the classroom and beyond
• Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress, and contribute to the overall student success plans
• Provide education and resources to staff, faculty, and parents to promote carryover of therapeutic goals
• Maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
