Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. We are open to candidates with either mechanical inspection or electronic inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections
• Inspect components and assemblies for quality and compliance
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment to verify dimensions and quality
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
• Follow all aerospace and company quality procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Experience using inspection tools and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is a plus
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainview, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
