Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm
• In-person, on-site work

Job Summary

The Landscape Laborer supports landscape maintenance operations by performing groundskeeping and landscaping tasks at commercial, industrial, and public properties.

This role involves operating commercial landscaping equipment, maintaining plant material, and ensuring outdoor areas are safe, clean, and visually appealing.

Requirements

• Cutting turf, mowing, weeding, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
• Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches
• Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch
• Picking up trash and debris
• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe
• Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience in related field and managing crews.
• Must be able to verbally communicate with manager and co-workers.
• Must have experience operating various types of commercial landscape equipment including mowers and other gas-powered equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company's carrier.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and assist in safely lifting up to 50 pounds of material.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather common in Central Florida, including extreme heat and humidity.
