Travel Nursing Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Nursing Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19118 Start Date: October 26, 2026 End Date: January 24, 2027 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130 Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: As applicable Call Requirement: None Patient Ratio: Approximately 4–5 patients per nurse Interview Process: Virtual interview required Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license Graduate of an accredited school of nursing At least 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry or related acute-care nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Working knowledge of basic nursing care, stroke patient management, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac drips including amiodarone, nitroglycerin, and Cardizem Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in cardiac telemetry, medical-surgical telemetry, and surgical telemetry units. Float among four designated units according to staffing and patient-care needs. Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate clinical outcomes using the nursing process. Monitor patients with cardiac conditions, cardiac drips, and stroke-related diagnoses. Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate promptly with the physician and interdisciplinary care team. Administer medications and treatments safely while following current nursing standards, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with patients, families, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to promote quality outcomes. Delegate and direct nursing support staff appropriately in the delivery of patient care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support a safe, respectful, patient-centered environment.
