Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
Discipline: RN
Duration: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours
Employment Type: Travel

Role: ICU RN (Critical Care)

Unit size: 7 ICU beds

Schedule

Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Guaranteed hours: 36/week
Weekends/Holidays: Every other rotation
On-call: None
Call-back: Must report within 1 hour if needed

Requirements

Minimum experience: 2 years ICU/Critical Care
Skills: Strong ICU competency, resilient, adaptable, team-oriented
Charting system: EPIC required
Certifications:
- Illinois RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS

Floating / Duties

May float to:
- ER (rare, with orientation if needed)
- Med-Surg (more likely)
- House Supervisor coverage (resource/support role)
ICU patient ratio: 2:1

Important Restrictions

No local candidates (within 40-mile radius not eligible)
Must be flexible with floating and staffing needs
