ARDMS Sonographer - Full TimeMLR is looking for a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and optimal patient care.Primary Responsibilities for a Sonographer:Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.Operate and maintain ultrasound machines and related equipment.Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.Qualifications for a Sonographer:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.Certification by the ARDMS (AB) (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician (preferred, not required).Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
