Human Resources Payroll Manager

LHH

Seeking HR / Payroll Manager with strong, hands-on multi-state payroll experience to join our mission-driven nonprofit organization. This position will play an important role in keeping HR operations running smoothly while partnering closely with the HR Director across payroll, benefits, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and special projects. This is a role local to the DC, NVA and Baltimore area.

Key areas of focus include:

Bi-weekly multi-state payroll processing
Payroll audits, reconciliations, deductions & taxes
401(k) administration
FMLA, disability & multi-state leave
HRIS data integrity and reporting
Benefits and HR operations support
Handle employee relations and performance management
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration

Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K matching, PTO, Tuition reimbursement
