Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience to join a supportive inpatient unit. This role is open to first-time travelers and offers safe staffing ratios with strong interdisciplinary support.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 2+ years RN experience
• 1 year Telemetry experience
• ACLS (12 years experience)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Telemetry competent

Unit & Patient Information

• Unit Size: 47 beds

• Patient Population: Basic medical/surgical

• Patient Ratios (acuity-based):

  • Days: 1:45
  • Nights: 1:56

• Tech Support Ratios:

  • Days: 1:7
  • Nights: 1:9

Unit Support & Resources

• Patient-free Charge Nurse
• LPN support for the entire unit
• Centralized Telemetry Monitoring with Tele Tech
• Hospitalist, RT, and Phlebotomy coverage 24/7
• Adequate PPE available

Technology & Equipment

• Charting: EPIC
• Equipment: Alaris, Pyxis

Orientation

• Minimum 1 shift to learn unit flow
