About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Logistics to lead the transportation strategy for its extensive freight network. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of the transportation network, leading a large corporate logistics team, and partnering with executive leadership to drive efficiency and strengthen carrier partnerships. Key responsibilities include strategic analysis of transportation and operational data, optimizing logistics operations, and enhancing vendor partnerships to ensure a high level of service. The role also involves driving high-impact projects, promoting operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Applicants for the Vice President of Logistics position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 20 years' of leadership experience in large-scale logistics operations, with a strong background in all transportation modes. Expertise in outbound LTL is a plus.
