CNA Position at Auburn Crest HospiceAt Auburn Crest Hospice, we provide comfort and support for individuals and their families in the final stages of life. Your role is crucial in ensuring our patients' dignity and comfort, working closely with nurses and other hospice staff.Key Responsibilities:Follow treatment plans as directed by an RN or licensed therapistPerform diagnostic activities (vital signs, temperature, sample collection)Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activitiesSupport patients during meals and document intake as neededAssist with specialized duties delegated by registered nurses or therapistsHelp with toileting and catheter changesAssist with patient mobility and use of special equipmentChange dry dressings under RN instructionsEnsure client safety and comfort measures are in placeProvide social interaction and reassurance to patients and familiesDocument visits in compliance with the CNA Plan of CareProtect client rights and confidentialityAdhere to OSHA guidelines, especially "Standard Precautions"Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCertified Nursing Assistant certification required; 1 year of experience preferredCPR certificationA genuine desire to care for the elderly and chronically illAbility to treat clients and their possessions with dignity and respectStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenSchedule flexibility and willingness to travel locallyValid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportationWhy Join Us?Make a meaningful impact on patients' livesWork in a supportive and compassionate environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits
