Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your understanding of the laws, rules, and regulations affecting students with disabilities will be crucial as you collaborate with school staff and families. You’ll rely on your depth of knowledge in pediatric and adolescent development, along with your familiarity with medical and psychological diagnostic tools, to assess students’ needs and deliver targeted speech-language services.

Valued Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited university
• Solid understanding of laws and policies governing services for children with disabilities
• Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing student data, and applying compliance standards
• Knowledge of descriptive terms for physical and learning disabilities

Preferred, but not required:

• ASHA Certification
• ABSESPA Licensure

Key Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Team-oriented approach with the ability to support diverse student populations
