Centralized Scheduling Specialist

Brief Description Join our dedicated team as a Centralized Scheduling Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in coordinating outpatient service scheduling and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This position is responsible for reviewing physician orders, completing accurate patient registrations, validating medical necessity, and coordinating prior authorizations. Requirements CPSI or APRIMA experience preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required. Other Skills And Abilities Accurate, efficient key‑boarding skills; ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities; highly organized. Medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD‑9 coding, medical insurance knowledge, and 10‑key skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to assist with resolutions to issues and problems. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: A minimum of three years related business and/or customer service experience, preferably in a hospital, medical or physician office.
