Job Summary As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will obtain your Securities Industry licenses and receive dedicated, personalized training for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. Upon licensing, you will be taught the foundational skills needed to become an advisor—acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, assessing a client’s financial picture, and guiding them with advice and solutions to improve their financial lives. Once you have demonstrated success as a licensed FSA I, you will typically progress into Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will continue to practice these skills by deepening relationships within a portfolio of clients. Throughout all stages, the Academy supports you with training, coaching, and career resources. Responsibilities Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE within 30 days of hire; Series 7 and 66 within 120 days). Acquire, build, and manage client relationships, including banking customers, small‑business owners, and high‑net‑worth clients. Assess clients’ complex financial pictures and recommend appropriate solutions. Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews and presentations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals. Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill solutions to meet virtually all their financial needs. Attend training and on‑boarding programs and apply a consultative approach with clients. Maintain SAFE Act registration and complete required background checks; failure to maintain registration may result in termination. Qualifications Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses. Self‑disciplined time and capacity management. Experience cultivating client relationships and recommending solutions. Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration. Results‑driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast‑paced environment. Capacity to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to new technologies or applications. Bachelor\'s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience. High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent (minimum education requirement).
