Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory (Night Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory (Night Shift) in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with guaranteed weekly hours of 36.

Job Description

This position is located in a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center, which is Joint Commission Accredited and certified as a Chest Pain Center. It also functions as a Level 3 Trauma center. The area offers a beautiful blend of mountain ranges and serene lake scenery, with ample outdoor recreation opportunities and proximity to major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients, including administering aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.
• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory conditions and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic health records (EHR).

Required Experience

1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Arizona Respiratory Therapy License required.
• Certification in BLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC is necessary.
