Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Apply and post customer payments while maintaining accurate customer account records as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account variances as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Communicate with customers regarding account status, payment activity, and invoice-related questions as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Prepare account reconciliations and support month-end close activities as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
• Partner with internal departments to resolve invoicing concerns and improve receivable processes as the Accounts Receivable Specialist

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience
• Experience with account reconciliations, aging reports, and cash application processes
• Strong Excel skills and experience working within ERP or accounting systems
