Staff Nurse

POSITION TITLE: Staff Nurse (LPN or RN)- Float Nurse Secondary

REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Monday- Friday, full-time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid PA RN or LPN license
Experience with school aged children preferred
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.
Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Daily nursing duties including routine health assessments
dispensing medications, providing necessary health care/first aid, etc.
Assisting on field trips, across the district, as needed
Other duties as assigned

PREEMPLOYMENT PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS:

PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s)
