Job Description

In this role, you will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing high-quality printing ink by performing any or all of these duties as directed. As an Ink Maker/Ink Technician, you will be responsible for following batch instructions to weigh batches, change and mix inks, understanding proper mixing procedures, and managing raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch instructions to weigh batches, change and mix inks.
• Understand proper mixing procedures and raw materials.
• Mix batches of ink and make additions as necessary.
• Engage in manufacturing, blending, batching, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklifts and manage inventory.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Good computer skills.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior chemical experience.
• In-plant, ink or pressroom experience.
• Color matching skills.
• Forklift experience.
• Chemical operator experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing facility that is very clean, especially for a chemical plant. Employees are provided with a boot voucher of $150 and uniforms

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEBANON, OH.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $21.00/hr.
