What's a typical day as Warehouse Operator? You'll be:

• Assisting with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
• Sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, or product code.
• Filing requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items, and distributing items as needed.
• Marking materials with identifying information and recording amounts received or distributed using computer programs.
• Assisting in counting physical inventory and preparing parcels for mailing.
• Supporting facilities maintenance duties and keeping the warehouse organized and safe.
• Wearing proper safety equipment and performing other duties as assigned by management.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience (required).
• Bring previous experience in warehouse shipping and receiving (preferred).
• Are able to regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
• Possess strong mathematical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Are comfortable with the physical demands of standing, handling objects, reaching, and occasional lifting or moving of heavy items.
• Can work efficiently, follow safety guidelines, and maintain workplace organization.
